Here it is! The beautiful cover to “The Secret Lives of Colour”, which will be published by John Murray in October. For the princely sum of £20 you will learn about the brown that changed the way battles were fought, the white that was thought to protect against the plague and why the pre-Raphaelite Edward Burne-Jones insisted on giving a tube of paint a decent burial.

Hello Brooke. Thank you for getting in touch. It will be available in America, but not until next year, when it will be published in the fall by Penguin Books. (As you can imagine, I am thrilled to be working with them.) K.

Hi Brooke. It is indeed: it’s in most Waterstones, Foyles and Daunts (all big book stores with several outlets around London) and it is also available on Amazon.co.uk if that’s easier for your friend. I hope you enjoy it!

Dear Jeff, that is brilliant. I have no idea who put the listing up, but if they do manage to earn roughly $2,312.74 from a single copy of my book I am definitely going to get in on some of that action too! Luckily for those not willing to pay the premium, the Secret Lives of Colour (Color) will be published later this year in America for a much more reasonable sum.
